Another Finesse Developer Release

Finesse Developers,

Excitement is building in "Finesse-land". We are about a month away from our first production release and the team is very busy putting the finishing touches on the release. I know that some of you are feverishly building gadgets for Finesse. I look forward to seeing what you build. As I've stated many times, if you build something, please tell me. I will help you publicize it as much as I can including showing it during customer briefings and posting it on both our internal and customer-facing sites.

We have a new developer release available for you here:
http://developer.cisco.com/web/finesse/docs

This requires a fresh install and CCE 8.5(3). If you don't have CCE 8.5(3), your agents won't be able to log in. This has a lot of new functionality compared to our last developer release including:

-Call and ECC Variables (API Only)
-Transfer
-Wrap-Up during the call
-Not-Ready Codes

We are still finishing up some functionality including conference, client failover, call variables through the UI, and silent monitoring.

I did a "Top of Mind" session on Finesse including an overview of the 8.5(3) release, details on deployment, demo, and roadmap. I encourage you to view the webex recording if you have time:

Koushal,

The ECC Variable label names don't show up in Finesse Admin. You need to type in the name of the ECC Variables yourself.
