Successfully upgraded a system from 9.0 to 9.1 but receiving an error with the call control gadget after an agent logs in.
-----START-----
There were issues rendering this gadget.
org.apache.shindig.common.xml.XmlException: The element type "meta" must be terminated by the matching end-tag "". At: (20,3)

http://localhost/desktop/gadgets/CallControl.xml
-----END-----
The rest of the UI is OK.  Agent can sign in / out, change state, show reserved for an incoming call.  Call control gadget, as normally seen, is not visible at all.  Happens with both Firefox and IE 8.

An issue with the CallControl gadget is a Finesse product issue. Suggest you open a TAC service request on the Finesse desktop.

Problem resolved.  It was pointed out that the install guide for 9.1 calls out a change to the default layout.
http://localhost/desktop/gadgets/CallControl.xml
Needs to be changed to...
http://localhost/desktop/gadgets/CallControl.jsp
That is something we typically expect to see in the release notes.
-Andrew

Good to hear. I have opened doc defect CSCue92671 on the release notes to call out the change in the default layout to CallControl.jsp
