Hi,
I've installed the lastest release of Finesse - build 629 - and I have UCCE 8.5(3) and UCM 8.6(1) running. I've done the configuration in the admin page - which was working for the previous Finesse release - but now, when I try to login the agent, I get the message"A generic sign in error has occurred."
I'm attaching the logs.
Can you help?
Thanks,
Zelino

I noticed this error in your desktop webservices log
UNABLE_TO_CONNECT_TO_XMPP_SERVER: %[request_method=CoreImpl.xmppStart()]: Unable to connect xmpp server
and this in stderror.out
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Illegal JID: finesse.
I have seen this before when no domain was specified for the VOS during the install.

Hi David,
Indeed the domain wasn't specified during installation. Is there a way to specify it after installation? Or any other way of resolving this?

David,
Even after setting the DNS and domain with the "set network dns" and "set network domain" and rebooting the server, I have the same error.

There is no way to specify it after installation it is required during the install. You must perform a fresh install and specify the domain.
