Hi,
From where can i download the Finesse DR 3 release.
Please help.

Thanks
Hari

The DR 3 release is no longer available. All developers should use the FCS release which was made available 12/23/2011

Ordering info can be found here http://www.cisco.com/web/partners/downloads/partner/WWChannels/technology/ipc/downloads/CCBU_ordering_guide.pdf

Hi David,

Does the FCS release supports Outbound?

Thanks,
Zelino

Version 8.5(3) FCS of Finesse does NOT support Outbound option. That feature is high priority and should be available in 2012.

Is there an NFR version of the shipping product available for development partners? Or do we have to purchase the FCS version itself? And if we do, do we get a discount for using it in a lab/NFR environment?

You can download Finesse here

http://www.cisco.com/cisco/software/type.html?mdfid=283613135&catid=null

Yes Finesse is also included in the NFR kit.

Thank you David. Is this the FCS release that you mentioned earlier?

Also, when clicking through on the download it shows the following in the download rules.

"That you must purchase a Cisco Operating system Software feature set upgrade license if the feature set you intend to download is not included in your initial license"

Does that mean we still need to purchase something to use the download or is it just like the NFR or DR versions?

The download is the Finesse .iso so it should be like the NFR or DR version. It does require a fresh install.

Thanks again David. So is this ISO the same image as what is currently being shipped as the FCS version? Basically will we be developing against the same version that customers are currently buying?

Yes. Note there will be a new developer release with associated SDK available shortly.

Thanks David. How soon is "shortly"? Should I be spending the time to install, setup and test with the FCS release or just wait for the next developer release?

Finesse version 8.5(4) is currently scheduled for March. There will likely be a Developer Only release prior to that.

Thanks again David. So March is about 5 weeks away. Will the developer release be something like 1-2 weeks from now or closer to the March release date?

I just found out there will NOT be a developer release before the March release of 8.5(4). We will, however, be posting the javascript libraries from 8.5(3).
