The CUIC sample gadget is intended to serve as an example of placing a CUIC
permalink in a finesse gadget.

This sample illustrates how to initialize the gadget, and to set up a handler
for determining when the tab that gadget is on is visible. (If you just
put the permalink in a gadget without the javascript to check if the tab is
visible, the CUIC frame will not render correctly when it is not on the first

Screenpop into a search engine is incorporated in the SampleGadget_Final gadget that is included with the Finesse javascript libraries as well as the Screenpop gadget posted on CDN.

There are some known issues with searching:

Bing.com has issues with IE8 in a search from an iframe.
Google.com will not allow a search in an iframe
Yahoo.com search may have issues rendering inside an iframe
Dogpile.com does not have any known issues.

The Finesse non-gadget sample presents a page allowing the ability to sign in/out, query for and
change agent state, and perform basic call control operations.
The example page implements the logic to connect to a BOSH/XMPP server using
the Cisco Ajax XMPP Library (http://developer.cisco.com/web/xmpp/resources)
to receive events. All responses and events will simply print to the debugger console.
The code has been tested with Firefox 14.0.1 and Firebug 1.10.2.
