GED-125 helper for CVP app?

Hi,

I am attempting to set a specific ECC value from CVP, which offers access only to predefined ECC storage. One of our vendors does this in their IVR using GED125, so I am hoping I can construct a partial implementation to set the specific ECC value for the current call.

I am currently knee-deep in the protocol spec PDF, and am hoping someone here could share sample source code with me.

Thanks,
Chris

Actually, as I continue to research this issue, I'm wondering if the CTI Server API might be more relevant.

GED-125 is likely already in use between CVP and ICM. However, the CTI Server API seems to use very similar messages and allows the client to initiate the connection (rather than the PG).

Maybe, then, I should move this question to another place? If so, please advise.

Thanks,
Chris

I think what you might try is the Contact Center scripting forum as
this seems like a CVP scripting question (setting ECC variables from a
script.)

Ok, I'll try there.

However, I'm expecting a "You can't do that" from them, as this is definitely not an in-the-box requirement. Normal CVP apps use predefined ECC space - I need to get past that.

Anyhoo- I think GED125 is not the solution due to the PG owning the connection.

Thanks!
Chris
