Yes protocol 6 is the latest GED-125 protocol. Your application should continue to work with ICM 8.5(x) and 9.0(x)

The latest version is 3.0d and is available in the GED-125 CDN Developer Center here http://developer.cisco.com/web/ged-125/documentation
