Cannot change background on Cisco 8941/8945

Hi everybody,
we are trying to change the background image of a Cisco 8941/8945 Phone with the <setBackground> XML Execute. As far as i can see the firmware (9.3.1.18) for this device does not support that execute. Does anybody know if they will support it in the future?
I do know that it is not "officially" supported by cisco ...
