We have expirenced a problem with App:Close URI on 99xx, 89xx phone models. We send following XML to phone via JTAPI:

<CiscoIPPhoneExecute>
<ExecuteItem URL="App:Close:1:10:Some/AppName" Priority="0"/>
</CiscoIPPhoneExecute>
and receive following answer:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<CiscoIPPhoneResponse>
<ResponseItem URL="App:Close:1:10:Some/AppName" Data="Success" Status="0" />
</CiscoIPPhoneResponse>
But application is not closed. We have downloaded a phone logs and see that there is many NullPointerException here. We think there is a firmware bug. Can you confirm that? Or may be this is known issue/behaviuor? See phone logs in attach.Sergei Gorbunov2013-02-04T08:15:12Z
