Reading IM presence information from Jabber

Hi,
My requirement is to read IM presence information of Cisco Jabber Accounts using C++. Whether I have to use Cisco Jabber SDK APIs or CUPS APIs to retrieve the IM presence information (busy, Free, Do not Disturb)? Which is the best? Please suggest your thoughts.

Jabber doesn't have Native SDK support yet. You can do that via CUPS API.
There are some MS and Eclipse samples that you can download to have a try

Look for Cisco Unified Presence IDE Plugins session

Hi,
 
is there a support for php to read IM presence inforamtion? I tried to connect to im4.ciscowebex.com/http-bind with the xmpphp library, but without any success. Are there any examples how to do this?
