we are currentlly in the process of finding a fitting softphone solution for the remote VPN users of one of our customers. The basic challenge is to find a client that can be used in conjunction with CUCM 9.x and that supports IPv6.
My question regarding the Jabber SDK is:
- Is it possible or planned to support IPv6 for the Voice/Video Plugin of Jabber SDK?
- If so, is or will it be possible to use IPv6toIPv4-NAT between the IPV6-only remote user clients and the IPv4/IPv6 CUCM environment?

I have a question related to this topic. We are currently developping a web based Jabber client (no Jabber for windows here), and we are wondering if it would be possible to place call (like you described earlier).
Let's assume you are logged in the web client on Chrome (or FF doesn't matter), then you open a second Tab and make a search on google. Would it be possible to highlight (or whatever) a number in google result and ask the jabber web client to place a call to this number ?
Is this something that can be realized with the SDK. Will it ask any installer on the machine, or can it be done like the Jabber client (with registry keys) ?

Thanks for your help

Working on a JabberSDK-based Chrome extension would be really great, there is an internal proof-of-concept which has not been updated for a while unfortunately
