Both selecting an audio/video device and controlling the volume are not under consideration for the next release, but are on the roadmap.
Thanks,

Thanks for the details Howard,
Can you also let me know if you know of any techniques to achieve the same?
Thanks and Regards,

    <summary type="html">Hi,
We are trying to implement a feature where in we can control the volume during a call through the Jabber SDK. Currently we dont see any such feature being provided by the API. We are also tried to use the javascript parameter ".volume" of the "callContainer" but we were unable to achieve the desired. Can you please share some examples regarding this?
Also in the "Voice &amp; Video FAQs" i see the following statement ,"Direct control over audio and video devices will be available in a later release" , does this mean that we will be able to select an audio device (from a set of devices) and control its volume? Also can you please let me know by when we might be able to lay our hands on this release?

Thanks and Regards,
