Cisco Live: Internet of Everything Will Create Unprecedented Business Opportunities


Dear Partner,
My personal and sincere thanks to all of our CDN members who joined us at the CDN Developer Forum at Cisco Live London this week and those who followed our adventures on Twitter (@cisco_developer) .
As you heard in the keynote by Hans Hwang (VP of Advanced Services, responsible for Cisco Developer Network, Collaboration Services Practice, and Advanced Services Strategy), the Internet of Everything will create unprecedented business opportunities for you to partner with Cisco. An ecosystem of partners is increasingly important to drive relevant business solutions to our customers around this vision.
If you were unable to attend, I hope you will visit our library of resources, presentations, and collateral presented during our Developer Forums.
We hope you’ll take part in our Deal Registration contest, launched just this month. CDN partners are encouraged to register their Cisco based deals in the Deal Registration tool within the CDN Developer Dashboard.
Deal registration has been greatly simplified. To celebrate this change, CDN will award a written case study ($2500 value) to the top 5 CDN Partner organizations who register the most deals closed between January 1, 2013 and May 31, 2013.

The new and improved Solution Incentive Program (SIP) continues to gain traction with our Reseller partners who are financially incented to incorporate third party products into their end-to-end offering. CDN partner solutions are eligible to participate if they have their product posted on the CDN Marketplace and their IVT certification is current.

PartnerFIRST was also launched at the CDN Developer Forum in London. This program allows select CDN partners to participate in early launch activities associated with new releases of Cisco products as they occur. Participants will have access to technical and marketing documentation, community forums, and in some instances live events. The PartnerFIRST launch event framework differs based on the Cisco product in regards to the volume of participants, virtual or live activities and degree of hands-on access to hardware and software.
