Client Matter Code (CMC) for non CMC registered DNs possible?

Some JTAPI Methods take the client matter code as parameter (e.g. CiscoCall.transfer(...)). If the DN the transfer should occure to is not part of a route pattern where CMC is checked - will the method succeed, and the CMC get written to the CDR? (Same applies to FAC)

This would be great for charging calls not depending on a specific DN, but for attendants to situational charging depending on the caller or the purpose of the call. - Thanks.

The expectation is that the request would succeed, but that no FAC/CMC would be written to CDR. Behaviour different than that would probably be considered a defect and you would not want to rely on it.

Thank you, David.
Do you know if there is another possibility to write custom application
data into CDRs? I noticed that there is a field "FldMarkedBySamwin".

I'm not aware of any way for apps to get data into CDRs.
'FldMarkedBySamwin' - pretty sure this isn't anything done by CUCM.
