Subject: New Message from Jeroen Hermans in Cisco MediaSense (MediaSense) - Technical Discussion: Demo application v 0.85

Jeroen Hermans has created a new message in the forum "Technical Discussion":

--------------------------------------------------------------
Hi,

I'm trying to use the demo app version .085 to login to media sense but keep getting this error :
Problem with server response: HTTP request status, error: 12019
I presume I should login with a user that is a MediaSense API User ?

I did follow this part of the readme document :

2.2. Steps for setting up the sample application
Step 1:
    * Extract the contents of the sample application zip file to a folder
Step 2:
    * Open login.html file in internet explorer ( works only with IE 7.0, any other IE version or browser won't work )
    * Internet Explorer will block the ActiveX content, right click on the status message and allow it to execute
    * Bookmark this location for easy access
Step 3:
    * Fill in your MediaSense host and credential details ( Note: Do not click the Login button yet )
Step 4:
    * In the same browser window open a new tab and type in
https://MEDIASENSE_SERVER:8443/ ( replace MEDIASENSE_SERVER server with your MediaSense host ip address)
    * Click on "Continue to this website (not recommended)" option listed on the page
Step 5:
    * Switch back to the previous sample application login tab and click Login.
Up on successful login you will be taken to the search window

Kind Regards,

Jeroen
