1. All purchase orders under this Discount Purchase Program are subject to Cisco's review and verification of use in demonstration or lab environments.  Cisco has the right to reject any orders or portions of an order that it deems in its sole discretion does not meet the use requirements.
2. SMARTnet service (with Software Application Services or Software Application Services plus Upgrades) may not be purchased at a discount through the Discount Purchase Program.  Participants may purchase this separately from a Cisco Authorized Distributor or Cisco Authorized Reseller.  For more information on the benefits of a SMARTnet, Software Application Services (SAS) and Software Application Services plus Upgrades (SASU) services, go to http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/svcs/services_area_root.html.
3. The discount offered in the Discount Purchase Program cannot be combined with Premier, Silver, or Gold discounts or stacked with any other promotions, discounts, or credits including NFR SKUs offered by Cisco.
4. Financing options such as leasing or extra 60 day flooring may be available under the Discount Purchase Program.
5. No claims will be valid for POS sold 90 days after the Discount Purchase Program ends.
6. Cisco reserves the right to change any aspect of the Discount Purchase Program at any time.
7. There are no return privileges on these products purchased using the Discount Purchase Program   In some cases, exceptions may be granted and then only by a Cisco Distribution Manager.  If a return is granted the promotional dollars originally paid by Cisco will be refunded back to Cisco.
8. Participants must abide by the rules of the Discount Purchase Program, and the Cisco Technology Developer Program.
9. Hardware purchased through this Discount Purchase Program may not be resold before one year from date of purchase.
10. Hardware purchased through the Discount Purchase Program may not be used for revenue generating services.
11. Software purchased through the program may not be resold.
12. Selected non-IOS software on the Cisco Global Price List qualifies for this Discount Purchase Program. This Discount Purchase Program is not applicable to IOS images.
13. Where a separate media charge is required, the media charge may be submitted for $100 on the same order as the software license under this Discount Purchase Program.

If Cisco products, which are supplied to you with special discounts and/or special pricing as referred to herein, are found to have been sold by you to parties and for projects or purposes in breach of the present promotion terms and conditions, then Cisco may, in addition to all its other rights and remedies all of which are reserved, undertake one or more or all of the following actions:

·      Invoice you for the difference between such special discount and the then-current resale discount in the applicable sale and purchase agreement between Cisco and you;

·      Audit your purchases and invoice you for all reasonable costs incurred by Cisco in its performance of the audit;

·      Suspend your access to WEB VOUCHER and other Cisco sales and marketing programs;

·      Suspend shipments to you;

·      Terminate your applicable sale and purchase agreement with Cisco for cause and;

·      Terminate your Cisco Technology Developer Program Agreement.

13. All matters relating to this promotion or the interpretation or application of these terms and conditions, or disputes regarding eligibility for the promotion must be submitted in writing to your Cisco Partner Manager within 3 (three) months of the claim, transaction or matter in question. Any such disputes shall be resolved by Cisco at its sole discretion and its decision shall be final.  This promotion and these terms and conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
14. This program is exclusive of local freight and duty.
15. Please note: any claims not complying with ANY conditions of this document may not be accepted or in case of acceptance by Cisco, without prejudice of any other rights that might be available to Cisco in contract or law, the latter may refuse at any time to comply with any of its obligations arising hereunder.

Introduction

The Discount Purchase Program enables Cisco Developer Network participants to purchase not-for-resale (NFR) Cisco hardware and software at a 70% discount (off list price) for use in their labs and demonstrations (non- production environments) only.

The Discount Purchase Program Guidelines provide a description of the program, terms and conditions, and ordering instructions.

Availability, Discount Levels, and Fiscal Year Limits

· The program is currently available in Asia Pacific, Canada, Europe, Emerging Markets, and the United States for orders placed solely through a Cisco Distributor Partner. Please contact the program office at cisco-developer-network@cisco.com. for information on availability in other countries or theaters.

· Limits are based on list price before the discount and Cisco's fiscal year beginning in August and ending in July. These limits apply per participant, regardless of the number of participant locations or affiliates. Cisco will reject any order that causes the participant to exceed this limit.

· Purchases must be made through a Cisco Distributor Partner (i.e. Comstor, Ingram Micro, or Tech Data in the United States). To find a Cisco Distributor Partner in your country, please refer to the Cisco Distributor Locator tool at http://tools.cisco.com/WWChannels/LOCAT R/performDistributorSearch.do. A guest level Cisco.com account is required to access this tool.

Ordering Instructions

1. If you do not have a Cisco.com account, please register for one at https://tools.cisco.com/RPF/register/register.do.

2. Associate yourself with your company in the Channel Partner Database, please log into the Partner Self Service tool at http://tools.cisco.com/WWChannels/GETLOG/login.do with your Cisco.com username and password, and follow the instructions to do so.

3. Review the Terms and Conditions sections for the theater in which you are based.

4. As noted in the Availability, Discount Levels, and Fiscal Year Limits section, the program is currently available for orders placed solely through a Cisco Distributor Partner.

· If you have an existing account with a Cisco Distributor Partner, you may purchase the equipment from them.

· If you do not have an existing account with a Cisco Distributor Partner, you must establish one with a Cisco Distributor Partner in your country. To find a Cisco Distributor Partner in your country, please refer to the Cisco Distributor Locator tool at http://tools.cisco.com/WWChannels/LOCAT R/performDistributorSearch.do. A guest level Cisco.com account is required to access this tool.

Cisco Commerce Workspace Ordering tool

1. Log on to the Cisco Commerce Workspace Tool (http://apps.cisco.com/PDR/myDeals.do? pdrpageseed=1218131699967) and click on "Deal"
   Note**We suggest clicking on "View Eligible Promotions" to confirm the NFR Certified/Specialized for (US) or the NFR GROUP G EURO promo is available. If it is not please contact the CDN Program office.

 

2. Enter the Deal name and click "Create Deal"

3. Who's Involved: Your company information will be auto populated.Click the checkbox to enter yourself as the Contact.For NFR deals, designate your company as the End Customer. From the CAM drop down select other and add josgarci.Click Save and Continue to move to the next step in the workflow.

4. About the Deal: Choose the Intended Use for the Deal. The Promotion you
   choose in the Promotions tab must have the same intended use. Click Save and Continue to move to the next step in the workflow.

Select the following for required:

· Deal Description: For lab and demo use only

· Intended Use: Lab

· Deal Category: Unknown (preferred) or Other-Resale/Infrastructure

· Deal Source: Other

· Deal Type: Purchase

· Expected Closing date: date deal was created

5. Promotions: Select the NFR - Certified/Specialized NFR Program (US) or the NFR Group G

6. * Click and accept the terms and conditions, select "lab" from the drop down and explain use and location. Click Save and Continue to move to the next step in the workflow.

 

7. Quote: Country Install site should be the same as your company profile (who's involved tab). Click Save and Continue to move to the next step in the workflow

8. Quote (cont'): Select "Add Product Item"

 

9. Quote (cont'): Enter part number/sku and quantity and click add.

NOTE* If your product is part of a configuration you will need to click on "select options" and configure the product.

 

10. Quote (con't): Select distributor. Click Save and Continue to move to the next step in the workflow.

 

11. Review and Submit: Submit Quote for approval

 

Once your order form has been reviewed and approved, a process which can take 2-5 business days, you along with the distributor you chose will receive a confirmation e-mail from Cisco that provides either an Approval Number or a Promotion Code.

3. • An email will be sent to you and the distributor with an Approval Number. Approval Numbers begin with "PROD" and are followed by 10 numbers (for example: PROD-012345-6789).

Place your order with the Cisco Distributor Partner you selected, making sure to reference the Approval Number or Promotion Code you received from Cisco to receive the discount.
