Schedule a reservationless meeting

Hello,

I'll need your help here: For a customer project, it comes cross a need to schedule a
Reservationless meeting. The only API we can find applicable is
"scheduleMeeting" with "schedulerUniqueId" equal to the host's profile ID in the
ScheduleParams. However, the scheduled meeting using this API sometimes
generates a uniqueMeetingId same as the profile ID, which is desirable, but
sometimes not. The ideal outcome is the uniqueMeetingId is always the same as
the profile ID when "diableMtgId" is not specified. In this way, we would be
able to schedule a reservationless meeting with the meeting id the same as the
host's profile id. Is any trick or workaround available? Or did we miss
anything?

BTW, we cannot
specify the "dialableMtgId" to be equal to the host's profile ID using this
scheduleMeeting API as it generates errors.

Thanks much for the help in advance!

Hi Puze Yang,

I completely understand that you are unable to initiate the 'Reservationless meeting' using your 7.x machine(got the information from DE Shameer). I was able to reproduce this with my MP 7.x machine. i am currently working on this with BU DE, will update on the findings soon. Thanks for your patience.

It seems you are running into an know issue CSCtf90994 - NullPointerException at NMPAgentDelegate.copyScheduleParamsToActionMap(). It¿s a defect introduced as a regression stemming from a fix submitted for 7.0(2.55) Admin_ConfMan hotfix but it has not yet been published yet.
