CDN Director: Our strategy is to deliver innovation

By now, I hope you’ve had the chance to “meet” the newest member of our CDN team, Timberly Morrison.
Timberly joined the team, as a product manager, but recently penned a great overview of CDN, from her newcomer’s eyes.
Her blog had some of our longtime critics and friends talking. Zeus Kerravala’s blog highlights the challenges my team faces every day. They are challenges we’re facing and conquering.

In short, the CDN strategy is to deliver and extend the intelligent network through developer and technology partner relationships and of course, the innovation they bring which drives end-to-end solutions for our customers. And, as Zeus duly noted, we’re in it to win it!

*We’re now up to 118 developer centers – spanning 20 technology categories – and conforming to industry best practices. More centers are being added monthly and membership across all segments is growing steadily.
*We’ve launched numerous developer ROI and sales accelerator programs – based in large part on member feedback. Examples include: CDN Marketplace, Go-to-Market Workshops, and the Solution Incentive Program.
*We’ve recently launched two new videos on the CDN Program and CDN Marketplace – all told in the voice of our CDN members: http://developer.cisco.com/

Feedback from CDN members has been enthusiastic, and it always welcome! My team’s on Twitter @cisco_developer, manning our blog here, and of course, we love receiving your comments via CDN email.

We can’t wait to join together in January 2013, for CiscoLive London, and present our roadmap to our partners. There, you can attend developer forums, based in either a technical track or a newly released business and marketing track, to help accelerate your go-to-market efforts.

There are even more exciting programs and offers in the works. I hope you stay with us as we continue to ignite the Cisco Developer Network and ecosystem.
