The Prime Home SDK empowers partners to create new applications and device drivers for the Prime Home platform. Service providers deploying Prime Home can extend the capability of Prime Home with the addition of the plug-in applications created via the SDK. The SDK can be used to enable small features for specialized devices, or more complex end-to-end applications that integrate with northbound systems.
- Prime Home integration
Enables integration through the use of Prime Home's northbound interface
- Prime Home extension
Enables adding features to Prime Home (new applications, drivers and searchlets)
- Prime Home Compatible
Developer partner program to ensure interoperability between Prime Home and third party devices
- Prime Home Plus
Developer partner program for integration of partner CPE devices and the Prime Home Plus client stack. Prime Home Plus provides a TR-069 client as well as value added extensions such as Bandwidth Monitoring and Whole Home Parental Controls.
Depending on the particular customer needs, Prime Home partners can participate in the above programs individually or as multiple integration points.
The Prime Home platform can be extended to fit customers' business and interoperability needs through use of the Plugin SDK. The SDK empowers customers and partners to create new Prime Home applications, including user interface elements and search indexing, through the development of plugins. CPE device interoperability is accomplished by implementing server-side drivers for applications, which are then tied to specific devices through device classes.
