RE: Getting SBP to talk to Cisco Hardware

Folks,

Hi there. I'm not sure if I'm asking the right question. Very much a newb.

I've got SBP installed on a server machine. I've got my own custom webserver. I've created a customer adapter which points to the custom webserver.

BUT, the big question is ..

How do I get the SBP to receive real-time call information from the Cisco Hardware / Server?

Anyone able to help me out with this?

I believe the SBP client uses the Cisco TAPI TSP plugin.  Ge that installed and configured properly and SBP should use it to get screenpop information.

Yeah, I completely missed the way the SBP and Tapi architecture work. I think I understand now.

Once the SBP Server is installed, the TAPI driver (and config) must be done ON EACH PHONE/COMPUTER you want to send back info.

This is an option for me, but I think I've discovered another way to get real-time info from the server (RADIUS ACCOUNTING).

We'll see. Thanks for the reply!
