Lets try to get this resolved directly. Here is my email. ejaraicie@hotmail.com.

It is ackward that the PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' is missing from the .config file. Just as ackward is the fact that the PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35 belongs to the web.config file for CRM.

After looking into your problem, here are a few options.

1. "iisreset" command works wonders

2. If CRM server is co-resident with the SBP server, double check for conflict in IIS and the virtual directory structure.

When you have time please contact me.

Thanks

I'm not able to upload a graphic of any filetype to attach to the post, but I'm happy to email you a screen shot if you'd like. I have pasted the errors from both Web Service and Adapaters diagnostic tests below.

The error occurs while using the tool - the tool itself opens without errors. Note that the beginning of the errors pasted below complain about getting html instead of xml as the output, but the real issue is the "parameter doesn't exist" error.

Thanks.

    <summary type="html">Hi Jay,

A little more detail will be required. Please send/post the entire error. Or even better, if possible try attaching a screenshot. The error below suggest a problem with the Cisco CRM adapter or configuration but other issues may be at hand.

Does the error occur while opening the diagnostic tool or while using the tool?
If it opens, can you successfullly get results when running the test under the webservice tab?

Thank you

The CSBP solution will require internet access for certain CSBP Web Part mash-ups, such as Google Maps and Weather. Otherwise, internet-using web parts will not display the correct information.

I believe a video about creating the CSBP demo-kit using the Microsoft CRM VPC image can be located in the documentation section of this website.

<summary type="html">The Cisco Smart Business Portal(CSBP) provides a seamless integration with CRM/ERP/databases(by default, CSBP installs with Microsoft CRM and Great Plains compatibility), with a built-in web portal, and with Cisco Communications Manager/Manager Express and Contact Center compatibility. The CSBP forum will provide additional support for developers and CSBP users, but will hopefully also provide a healthy forum for CSBP growth into other systems and leading technology/business trends.

I have been working with the CSBP solution for some time and would be glad to help others see the opportunity gained through CSBP integration. Simply put, a CSBP integratred business will optimize and increase employee/company performance, while increasing customer satisfaction and value.

A good place to start is to use the Smart Business Portal diagnostic utility to verify accesiblity into the databases. Also, make sure you use the "test" button in the client settings of the Smart Business Portal client to make sure you can communicate from the portal client, to the server component. We'll follow up with you directly on this.</summary>
