Introduction
 
RSA enVision and the Cisco device portfolio help improve security and compliance through comprehensive forensics capabilities, auditing, and reporting. The companies’ long-standing partnership provides tightly integrated and certified solutions in remote access, data loss prevention (DLP), web security, wireless, core routing, and IP telephony.
 
Cisco and RSA work closely to integrate Cisco Security devices with RSA enVision, enhancing security, simplifying compliance, and increasing efficiency. RSA enVision collects events and alerts from more than 20 Cisco devices, including:
  • Routers
  • Firewalls
  • Unified computing
  • Intrusion prevention system
  • Cisco Security Monitoring, Analysis and Response System (MARS)
 
Integration
 
RSA’s authentication and encryption products, such as RSA SecurID and RSA BSAFE, provide integrated security for Cisco networks. RSA DLP and Cisco IronPort solutions are combined for a built-in security approach. RSA enVision is integrated with Cisco Mobility Services Engines to increase the efficiency of security and compliance tasks and reporting.  
 
RSA enVision accepts all 100+ Cisco Security MARS alerts, including botnets, client exploits, viruses, and worms. These alerts can be correlated with alerts from non-Cisco devices and applications to identify high-priority issues. RSA enVision also supports long-term storage and analysis of Cisco Security MARS log and event data.
