Forced Authorization Codes (FAC) not working with SIP Lines

Has anyone been able to get Forced Authorization Codes (FAC) working with a SIP Line?

Our application registers to CUCM as a SIP Line but one of our customers hit an issue where they currently have their dialplan configured to require FAC for any non-local calls from their phones (currently SCCP 79xx). This works fine on their deskphones but whenever we try from a SIP Line, the call fails and does not prompt the user to enter the auth code.

The documentation I found seems to imply that FAC only works with SCCP and not SIP but this seems like a major issue for customers who want to control dialing.

Has anyone found a way to make this work or know anything about this?

Thanks,
Christian
