Hi folks,
I would like to if we want to add Cisco SIP Line interface in our SIP server so that Cisco SPA5xx phones would work seamlessly with our SIP server, what would be the way to do it? Whic Cisco program provides sevice for such case?
Thanks,
Vivek

Within CDN there is support for application developers building SIP trunk clients and SIP line-side devices as clients of Cisco call-control (UCM/CME), but AFAIK there are no programs which support using Cisco sip devices as clients of 3rd party call-control. That being said, the SPA5xx phones are not handled under the CDN umbrella, so it's possible that the respective Cisco business unit may have different policy. I would suggest contacting the SPA5xx product management team, via your Cisco account rep.

Hi,
Thanks for your comments.
Yes, you are right for SPA5xx but I have checked CDN IVT and found that Cisco 79xx series and 99xx series phones are avaialbe under IVT with 3rd party call control (as in our case).
I would appreciate your comments on this!
