SUBSCRIBE to CUCM Trunk to receive events notification CTI Port

Hello

I have a specific requirement: capturing the SIP INVITE details initiated by CUCM, and make this info available to an external application.

The SIP INVITE is initiated from a CTI Port configured in CUCM and routed through a SIP Trunk, and the external application needs the SIP INVITE details to generate, out-of-band, an unsolicited NOTIFY using the same call-id of the captured SIP INVITE.

I tried to retrieve the SIP details using JTAPI, and monitoring the CTI Port, but it seems that JTAPI does not provide any SIP details. Even the CallID from jtapi is different from the SIP one.

The reason why I want to send a unsolicited NOTIFY is because the 3rd party SIP Phone, not registered to CUCM, has the intelligence to understand the NOTIFY and off-hook the line when the call is received. This is a feature provided implementing Broadsoft extension, available even in our Cisco IP Phone SPAXXX family.

I posted a similar question on the SIP Line, asking if it is possible to SUBSCRIBE directly to the SPA Phone to capture the received INVITE, instead of capturing the outgoing INVITE from CUCM.

Thanks much

Marco
