Do the 29xx gateways/IOS 15.X support SIP RFC 5626

Specifically section 4.4.1 about keep alives on a connection oriented protocol such as TCP?  When I turn on SIP message debugging I see them show up (from my UA), but there is never a response to them.  Do I need to configure something?
