Welcome to the CCP Technology Center on the Cisco Developer Network.

My name is Tod Famous and I am the Product Line Manager for the enterprise contact center products at Cisco. I am also leading the integration of social media with the Cisco contact center portfolio.

Customer Collaboration Platform (CCP) is the interim name for a new Cisco social media customer care solution. This is an exciting new component of the Cisco contact center portfolio that we plan to make generally available by the end of 2010.

The purpose of this tech center is for Cisco to share technical information about the CCP product with the developer community. We are using an "API-first" development methodology for CCP which means that all feature/functionality for the product will be available through an API, sometimes even before we build the user interface. This makes CCP a great platform for developers to extend/enhance functionality.

This tech center is also about collaboration. The entire CCP development team will be watching and interacting with developers through this site. We look forward to all feedback on the product capability and also your ideas on how you would like to see us enhance the functionality. We would also like to hear technical feedback on the structure of API's, the documentation, the tools and whatever else you feel we should be doing to help you build useful solutions based on CCP.
