Brett Tiller | Hi Nachiket,
Please first make sure that you are using the correct IOS release in your router. It should be at least 15.1.T3 and is provided on the CDN site: http://developer.cisco.com/web/srev/docs . Secondly, once the correct IOS release is installed, if the SM interface still does not appear, please power down the router, then remove and reseat the service module. Power the router back on and check if the interface has appeared. If this step doesn¿t resolve the issue, please type ¿show diag | include FRU¿ on the router and include that data in your response. In addition, please type ¿show version | sec image¿ on the router and include that data as well.
Thanks,
Brett

You will not be able to login to the router with this username after you exit this session. It is strongly suggested that you create a new username with a privilege level of 15 using the following command. username <myuser> privilege 15 secret 0 <mypassword> Replace <myuser> and <mypassword> with the username and password you want to use. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ^C banner login ^C ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Cisco Configuration Professional (Cisco CP) is installed on this device.
