Hi everyone,
 
Is there a way to enable SNMP on the SRE for management? We have Orion and I would like to see what VM information Orion can pull from the SRE. I see that SNMP is enabled (localhost\Configuration|. However if I telnet to port 161 on the ESX, that does not open. I want to clarify, this is not to enable SNMP on the VM, I would like to see if we can monitor the SRE via Orion.

Hi Charlie,

You'll need to leverage ESXi for SNMP. As I understand the SNMP agent is disabled by default. Please review the links below for more information.
