Speed setting on the sm1/1 interface on SRE-900 possible?

Hi,
 
We're using an SRE-900 plugged into an ISR2911 running IOS 15.1(3) T. Looks like the speed cannot be changed on this interface and is set to GIG. Our virtual appliance(VA) connects to this port via the vSwitch and our VA supports multiple speeds (10/100/1000).
Is there a way to set the speed or do auto negotiation or is 1000 the only option we have?

Chris,

I don't see any option in the SM interface to set the speed. If you are trying to limit the user bandwith you can use rate-limit, but based on your question I think you are trying to just negotiate speed with your VA.
