Hi,

We would like to set a status-line in the new phone-series, but as we know the status-line is not available anymore. We used to do this with the phoneSetDisplay function.

We saw a kind of status-message when a call is parked, and would like to use the same functionality to show our status line. What is the best way to achieve this?

Kind regards,
Frank Jong.

There are currently no plans to replace or re-instate the status-line update functionality.

If you have a significant business opportunity that depends on such a feature, you can email developer-support@cisco.com and we can put you in touch with one of the product managers to discuss.

We know there is no status-line in the new phone series, but we do want to give the user some information. Is there a way in tapi (or phone-xml-api) to get the same result with our message as with the 'parked at' message? See attached screenshots for an example (overlay/fade-to-idle/idle).
