I'm looking for a way through TAPI application controlling CTI ports, to analyse the incoming customer voice and detect certain situations like: answering machine or fax machine.
Adreas Marshall forum says this could be achieved with some help in terms of triggered events from the associated sound driver.

Does anyone have some kind of experience on developing this kind of integration with TAPI - RTP treatment or analyse.
Also, could this be a scalable solution?
