I'm tring to install the CiscoTSP to integrate with the callmanager
and I use "dialer.exe" to ensure that TSP works fine... but it does notemoticon

The following is the steps that I did use.
Version: CUCM 7:
        1. Create Application User and assigned ALL CTI groups.
                2. Download CiscoSTP.exe from the plugins.
                3. Install and configure the CiscoSTP using the application user just created.
                4. To test the environment Test the dialer.exe, it shows the cisco line when
press dial it give me an error message "An internal error occurred in
Phone Dialer..."

please find the attached log files.

Thanks in advance...

Paula,

I get a similar problem on Windows 7, however my TAPI application works
fine.

If you go to http://www.julmar.com/tapi/ and download the TAPI Line
Monitor app that works and should confirm that everything is installed ok

Andy,

Thanks for your replay.
Also many thanks for the very helpful website.

Did you solve the problem? if yes, kindly tell me how.

Should I Defining an AXL - application user?
Should I secure the connectionof the CTI Manager?
Did I missed any configurations?

Thanks in advance,

Hi Paula,

Is this a park device you are trying to monitor using TSP? IF yes
you may need to assign user role "Standard CTI allow park monitoring" or some similar kind
of role in CUCM end user config page.

Thanks
Praveen

Paula,

To add on to above reply, you still would not be able to initiate a call from a CTIpark device(even if you are able to monitor it) . I think this
is unsupported.
Try to associate a IP Phone/CTIport to end user and re-run scenario.

Let me know if this works.

Thanks,
Praveen

Thanks all for your help, I did solve the problem; it was because the devices need to be assigned to the user that I use.
