Hello everyone,

The recent firmware updates for the C-Series allows you to begin typing in a name (within the "Enter contact..." field) and it will begin to show suggestions for what you type. (See attached photo for an example.)

I would like to create a custom touch panel that brings up a QWERTY keyboard. The current problem that I have is that the API key click commands require you to press a number a few times to enter a letter.

For example, if I want to use the letter "C," I have to issue three key click commands for the number 2. One key click of the number 2 would give you the letter "A" and two key clicks would give you the letter "B." You can think of it like trying to text message someone from an older style phone without a QWERTY keyboard.

Is there any way that I can issue direct commands to a C-Series codec to take just alphabet letters instead of multiple number key clicks?

Thanks,

Mitch Walcott
