Get Started

Cisco customers or developers wanting to develop with the Scheduling API must purchase the developers kit and apply to the program. Details are on the right hand side under How to get started. All developers purchasing the Scheduling API will be reviewed by Cisco for acceptance into the program. After acceptance and enrollment to CDN, the developer will receive the license to enable the Scheduling API feature set and the Scheduling Developers Guide.

Technical Overview

You use the CTS-Manager Scheduling API (Scheduling API) to interface Cisco TelePresence services to third-party Enterprise Calendaring Applications (ECA). Currently, CTS-Manager supports Microsoft Exchange and IBM Domino calendaring. If you use any other calendar server, or if no calendar server is available, you must use the Scheduling API. See the presentation under the right hand side, CTS-Manager Scheduling API Overview for details.

Cisco TelePresence Scheduling API provides programmatic access to your organization's CTS Manager using a simple, powerful, and secure application-programming interface for customers who are not using Microsoft Exchange or IBM Domino Notes. For developers this API allows groupware applications to utilize Cisco TelePresence Manager for scheduling TelePresence calls with resource reservations and one button to push. The groupware Enterprise Calendaring Application (ECA) scheduling API is restricted to developers who purchase the Cisco TelePresence Scheduling API Developers Kit, more information below.
