The format of the CONFIG_REQUEST_KEY_EVENT depends on the version of the protocol you are using.

When using protcol version 12 or later there is a fixed reserved field of 4 bytes which should be 0 and use 00 00 00 0a 00 00 00 e6 00 00 00 00 83 04 00 00 00 00

For protocol version 10 the fixed field is not used. Use 00 00 00 06 00 00 00 e6 83 04 00 00 00 00
