UCS-E series Testing
Interoperability Verification Testing
(IVT) offered under the program is designed to allow developers to demonstrate the interoperability of their products (application software and/or hardware) with Cisco technologies. View this diagram to understand the IVT process.
IVT varies by technology. To learn more about IVT for a particular technology, please refer to the respective Developer Center.
Program
UCS-E Series partners may apply for Interoperability Verification Testing (IVT) after accepting the CDN agreement at the CDN portal. The process is started by sending an e-mail to ucse-ivt@cisco.com requesting IVT for UCS-E Series.
UCS-E Series technology provides a self-testing process for validating interoperability. Partners are provided an IVT template that must be completed. Partners run test cases provided within the template as well as their own test cases, and report the test results. In addition, the test bed topology, equipment and resources utilized along with CPU and memory utilization data must be provided as well. Once completed this data is sent to the IVT team for verification. UCS-E Series is on-boarding partners who are interested running their applications on this virtualized platform
Testing Requirement
Testing is required for promotion to Preferred and Solution Developer level Tiers. Ongoing testing with future Major releases of Cisco products registered by these tiers may be required with this technology
Fees
There are currently no fees associated with IVT self-testing on UCS-E Series. Testing participation requires a CDN membership, a registered product and an IVT Request. Test requests are submitted via the Developer Dashboard (link), under the Registered Products Tab. Select "Actions" and "Add New IVT" next to the product to be submitted for IVT. Detailed steps can be found in section 5.5 of Partner Application Instructions under "Additional Resources" at: http://developer.cisco.com/web/partner/join
