Hi, I have two questions to UCS attributes in API,
1. Is the ¿switchId¿ property of type ¿adaptorHostEthlf¿ the ID of the Fabric Interconnect that the chassis is connected to?  Should we rely on the  fabricLocale in the blade hierarchy to better determine the relationship?
2. Does the ¿operState¿ property  reflect the overall status of an item in UCS?  What does the operability status indicate?
thank you,

Yes switchID within adaptorHostEthIf represents which fabric interconnect it is connected to A or B. This pertains to a particular vNIC or vHBA setting.

The operState within the adaptorHostEthif is the status of the adapter itself , its not overall status. Every object like blade or chassis has its own operation state field

Hope that helps!

That makes sense.
Thank for your response.
