Currently are trying to figure this out too. You need storage for the backend to talk to the I/O module and then format. We rva ways but still things to come together.

> It can not be done. Remember the UCS Platform Emulator is a emulator. There is no way to backend "emulated hardware" with VM's. We are looking at being able to do the VM FEX integration emulation with a future UCSPE potentially. If added, it would allow you to configure the communication between UCS and vSphere to emulate port profiles, etc.
