UCSPE on ESXi fails to start

Hi,

We want to use UCSPE for our lab environment. I have downloaded the latest version and can use it without issue in VMWare Workstation. When I try to import it into ESXi 4.1.0 or 5.0.0, either by converting it to an OVA or by using VMWare Converter 5 to import it, it will start to boot and get to the point of "Starting Cisco UCSPE & UCS Manager:" and will keep counting upwards, never completing (it is currently at 214% and rising !!).

Any pointers on what could be causing the issue with this please?
I've already tried creating a new VM and connecting the existing disks to it, same issue.

Many Thanks,
Daniel

@daniel
I have this up on 4.1 and 5 ESXi. What version are you working with?

Can you try to reimport it, but before you start it, take a snapshot it?  This is a known bug that will be fixed in the next version.  It's a timing issue on the unpack process of UCSPE code on first boot.  If you see this issue, revert to snapshot and try again.  It doesn't always crop up on every first boot.

Let me know if you have further issues.  It is known to work on both ESX 4 and 5.

Eric

I'm not sure you have a good download. I have it up and running. Tested again over the weekend
