Can ping the VM but browsing to http://VM_IPADDRESS just times-out.

Please help

Copied the decompressed 7z files to a datastore but still no luck, I get the error "A SparseVer2BackingInfo disk is found but the virtual machine does not support the option."

Hi,

I've got the exact same situation as Daniel. Some response from Cisco and a fix would be most appreciated.

Thanks,
Ze'ev

Hi Daniel.

This issue is really with the VMWare Converter which somehow screws up mounting the hard disks for the VM correctly. The re-stamping error is due to this mount failure.

You don't have to download from the site again. Try converting and uploading a few times. It has been found to be successful after a few attempts.

Try running the VM on your local machine with VM Player or Workstation if you really don't need ESX.

Thanks.

Best way to fix this is log into the console of UCSPE w/ user config / password config and perform a "Factory Reset".  That should fix it.
