    <summary type="html">Well, I'm going to answer my own question.  I had to reboot for patching and it appears that something else was stuck.  Connection works perfectly now.

    <summary type="html">I loaded the IP into my 2012 Orchestrator test instance.&lt;!--?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /--&gt;

I tested a connection using Cisco UCS PowerTool to verify credentials and the module.

I then set up the Cisco UCS Prerequisites for PSModulePath, leaving the value blank to default as described in the documentation.  

 

Using the runbook tester, my first pass at making a connection fails with the following error text:

 

Access to the registry key 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\PowerShell\1\ShellIds\Microsoft.PowerShell' is denied.

 

Exception: CmdletInvocationException

Target site: PipelineBase.Invoke
