UCSPE guide below says that it contains XML samples and the XML schema (Page 10).

http://developer.cisco.com/documents/2048839/2049143/Cisco+UCS+Platform+Emulator+Guide.pdf

I can get "xml_Schema_and_Samples.zip" file from UCSPE.
It do contains XML samples but do NOT contain the XML schema...

Could you tell me where can I get it?

Any response here? I too am looking for the xsd.

Thanks.
Dan.

May I know the purpose for which you are looking for Schema?
Do you need XML Request Schema or Response Schema?

Am looking to build out some demo functionality, where I could make xml queries to UCS from an Oracle based tool.

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for sharing the info. Is it not possible to achieve that functionality by creating some XML Request Templates and posting them after inserting the user data in template.?
By the way, If you have already planned to use XML schema, I would like to tell you that after searching a lot about UCS schema, I have found that there is no Schema availed by Cisco. However, If I will get it in future, I will definitely share it with you. For the time being, If you are willing for some temporary workaround to achieve those functionalities, then may be I can help you

Thanks
Dilip

The emulator does have a link for API Schema and Samples, but as correctly stated it does not include the schema.

I have posted the schema for the two latest releases of UCS Fimware, 1.4(3q) and 2.0(1m) here http://developer.cisco.com/web/unifiedcomputing/docs

Could you also post the emulator for 2.0(1m)?

Jason,

An emulator for 2.0(1m) is not currently available, I do not have a time frame when one will be.

Hi John,

Can you please provide 64 bit UCS Emulator (1.4 or later)

Thanks
Dilip

Hey Dilip, why would you want a 64-bit emulator?  I would assume the use cases for an emulator are just to develop/test API functionality / features and gain familiarity with the GUI in a controlled environment.  I would expect 32/64 bit concerns only if you were linking against the libraries on the emulator.

Hi Paul,

I understand your concern.however, some of the machines in my team are 64 bit and they are not able to launch 32 bit UCS manager. That's why I am looking for 64 bit emulator

Thanks
Dilip
