Unified Computing Testing
Interoperability Verification Testing
(IVT) offered under the program is designed to allow developers to demonstrate the interoperability of their products (application software and/or hardware) with Cisco technologies. View this diagram to understand the IVT process.
IVT varies by technology. To learn more about IVT for a particular technology, please refer to the respective Developer Center.
Program
UCS Partners and Developers must apply for Interoperability Verification Testing (IVT) for Unified Computing (UCS) after accepting the CDN Agreement at the CDN Portal.
The Unified Computing / UCS technology category utilizes the either a self-test method, or remote access to an UCS IVT Lab for validating interoperability. CDN partners will develop integration, interoperability, or compatibility with UCS Manager using the XML API, or the UCS Platform Emulator.
UCS is on-boarding partners that are interested in software development and integration with the UCS Manager. Partners / Developers are required to provide a Test Plan or SOW for validation and to begin the IVT process. The UCS Partner Manager will review the plan and assist in provisioning and scheduling an environment in an UCS IVT Lab for remote testing. For partners self-testing, a Test Plan is also required.
Testing Requirement
Testing is required for promotion to Preferred and Solution Developer level Tiers. Ongoing testing with later Major release of Cisco products registered by these tiers is required with this technology.
