Getting Started - Developing Cisco Universal Power of Ethernet (UPOE) 

If you are not a CDN member then please start by:

1. Creating a Cisco.com account.

2. Becoming a Cisco Developer Network (CDN) member.
   
   Click here to become a member.
    

If you are an existing CDN member or have completed the steps above then: 

1. Complete & Accept the UPOE Supplemental terms. This is needed to gain access to resources, forums and blogs within the UPOE community.

Post accepting the Agreement, associate your prodcut to be listed with UPOE: 

1. To develop UPOE compliant products,  refer to the Resources section.

2. For you to be listed, please associate your relevant products to Cisco UPOE technology on the CDN portal. Detailed instructions are online, but in summary: 

   • Navigate to “Partner Dashboard" and add the product that you would want to register with UPOE in “Registered Product” - under Section 1

   • In Section 2 please “Add Cisco Product” and select Cisco Universal Power Over Ethernet (UPOE)

3. Post the development from the partner is done there is also an IVT process to have these products Cisco Compatible. Reach out to your partner manager Guneet Bedi (gubedi@cisco.com) for more information.
