Cisco B-ACD AA mode - Is it possible to detect when agents are logged?

Hi everyone,

I need to customise the standard B-ACD AA when all agents are logged out of a queue.

So the scenario is normal single tier ACD, press 1 for sales, 2 for marketing, 3 for account team, 0 for reception.

However when the site is closed, the customer wants the a "closed message" to be played out prior to the caller hearing the ACD options.

I thought if I could monitor the number of phones logged into the ephone-hunt group with the standard ACD/Queuing scripts and if agents are logged into the reception queue then play the main ACD menu. Otherwise play the closed message.

Has anyone come across a requirement like this, is this the right approach or am I missing a simplier way?

Regards,

Mike.

Hi Mike,

i am not sue whether you will be able to get agents status before playing the main menu, may be you can try saving the site status in some file and check the status before playing the main menu.

Thanks,
