Hi,
I have a basic question.
I create an end user and did NOT provide any rights to it. My Make call sample using java still works fine. So I am having difficulty understanding what is a proxy user here.
Could you please tell me how to create and use a proxy user.

My understanding is that WebDialer can place a call for a phone based on:
 
- Credentials supplied are those of the user associated to the phone
- Credentials supplied have been given 'Standard EM Authentication Proxy Rights'
 
The latter is able to use WebDialer to place calls for any phone - i.e. on-behalf-of/proxy
