    <summary type="html">Hi,

we found that the same issue is caused by the special character '&amp;' in the password for the WDSysUser.
We were able to reproduce the same in my setup by having this character in the password.

Could you please change the the password for the WDSysUser/WDSecureSysUser from User Management -&gt; Application User page.
Please ensure that the new password does not contain '&amp;' or any special character. Also ensure that the WebDialer service is restarted after the password is changed.

Please let me know how does it go

Best Regards

<summary type="html">Sorry Matt but I did not resolve this issue. I suspected that a Webdialer bug in the previous software version that was just a small one like 'DOES NOT WORK WITH EXTENSION MOBILITY' had not been fixed properly in my release. I did not pursue it as we were not prepared to upgrade a 10,000 device cluster with an Engineering Special.

I have however developed a far superior and scalable solution which we will be putting into production within a couple of weeks.
I am happy to discuss this with you further and could actually provide services to help you build it if you require.

Thanks
Mike

Your right in that the device should come up. Any ideas why it doesnt? The user is associated?

<summary type="html">I am using EM in my organisation and trying to set up out Corporate Directory with WebDialer call link. I am using CUCM 6.1(3).
I am currently testing using the proxy HTTPS call with the URL:
https://10.15.200.22/webdialer/Webdialer?cmd=doMakeCallProxy&amp;uid=mk0000&amp;appid=webdialer&amp;pwd=password&amp;destination=63988

It pops the Webdialer box but when I press dial, I get 'Call to 63988 failed : Failed to open
device/line'

I also cant get it to work from the CCMUser Directory with the same error.

Why cant I get WebDialer to work?

Thanks
