Limitations of the Java Client WRT the API

Hello,
I'm new to WebEx and the API, and I was wondering if this was a known limitation of the Java client (or Mac OS X), or if I'm doing something wrong.

Firstly, I'm using the URL API...

What I want to do:

I would like to automatically open a presentation when the host starts a meeting.
I am doing (inside the Host Meeting action query) this by setting the AS parameter to "Presentation" and setting the DL to the location of my presentation (/Users/caleb/Desktop/test.ppt).

When I host the meeting from a Mac OS X system (using safari or Firefox) the meeting center comes up, but the document isn't opened. I can then share the document through the meeting center interface, and everything works fine, but it doesn't pop up automatically.

When I set up a the same command (with the DL changed, of course), the native client opens up, and then opens the presentation, and everything is fine.

Is this a known issue with Mac OS/the Java client, or might I be doing something wrong?

Hi Caleb,
All of my tests had the same results, so I've sent up the question to the URL API engineering lead for confirmation that this is a windows only function.  Once I have that confirmation I'll let you know.

Thank you,

Hi Caleb,
The developers have confirmed that the autostart feature will only work on windows at this time.

thank you,

Hi,

I've tried loading the presentation from the internet using an URL as DL parameter but it doesn't seem to work. Is that supposed to happen?
Is there another way around it, to autostart a presentation from a web server?
(My file was already converted to .ucf)

Thanks,

Victor
