What's the Cause

When it probably is the API, but on the partner/customer side

  • Single sign on doesn't authenticate correctly
  • It works from the .webex.com site, and via API calls made outside the application but not when accessed via the integrated application
  • It was working the day before and the customer changed web servers, or something else on their backend

When it probably is not the API, but on the WebEx side

  • Reproducible via the .webex.com site
  • ORA (database) errors appear

When it is NOT the API

  • Not reproducible via the API outside of the API integrated application
  • "The links just suddenly stop working!" In some cases this happens because the links from WebEx pages have been added to pages hosted outside the WebEx network. "Ripping" (cutting & pasting) links from WebEx pages is not supported. Look to WebEx API or Common Entry Points as a solution.
